FIU Theatre will present The Last Days of Judas Iscariot on Jan. 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, Feb 1, 2, 3. Performances will take place on Wednesday and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Ticket prices range from $10 to $15.
The courtroom drama, set in a corner of Purgatory called Hope, hosts a trial between God and the Kingdom of Heaven and Earth versus Judas Iscariot.
Considering the conflict between divine mercy and human free will, it questions if God is truly all-forgiving, why was Judas condemned to Hell for his betrayal of Jesus Christ and his subsequent suicide?
