FELA! tells the story of Fela Kuti, creator of the music known as Afrobeat (mixing jazz, funk and African rhythm and harmonies), which includes lyrics that attacked the oppressive military dictatorships. The popular show mixes music, dance and story. The show features Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child and Miami-born tap dancer Gelan Lambert.
