barnes-noble.jpgBarnes & Noble is offering kids a free book this summer in exchange for going on a literary adventure  Barnes & Noble’s Summer Reading Program rewards kids (grades 1 through 6) with a free book after they’ve read eight books from the suggested list. Kids keep track of the books they’ve read in their “Reading Journal.” (You can download a journal here.) Once it’s complete, young readers can take it to any participating location to pick out a well-deserved reward from a limited selection of children’s books. The program runs May 20 to September 2, 2014.

Barnes & Noble stores in the Miami area also offer story times and special events for kids. Find special events at Miami-Dade Barnes & Noble stores here.
