Miami-Dade Animal Services provides discount spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats two days a week at the animal shelter. Pets older than four months need proof of rabies vaccine, or the county will administer the vaccine for $10. The service is for Miami-Dade residents only.
- Cats: $15 spay and neuter for cats with check-in starting at 7:30 a.m. every Thursday and Friday.
- Dogs: $30 spay and neuter for dogs with check-in starting at 7:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday.
The shelter also microchips pets for $10, no appointment necessary.

Thank you for providing this wonderful service. If every county in the country could do this, it would send the senseless killing of healthy animals.
These kittens were dumped in an office building in Kendall around 2005. I took care of them until I found them homes.
MIAMI DADE COUNTY WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE FREE SPAY NOR NUTER. THERE IS A $15.00 CHARGE PLUS $10.00 FOR THE RABIS VACCINE.NO MORE FREEBIES!!!!
