The two-day weekend Coral Gables Hispanic Cultural Festival is a celebration of local and international artists, musicians and designers. It takes place Oct. 22 from noon to 8 p.m. and Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
This year, the festival will include a memorial to Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez, who died in a boating accident recently.
There will be musical performances throughout both days, but here are the evening schedules:
- Flamenco at 5:30 pm
- Pro Disco DJ at 6 p.m.
- DJ Moshe at 6:30 pm
- Grupo H at 7:30 p.m.
- Blue Band at 4 p.m.
- Chris Pena Bachatero at 4:30 pm
- DJ Kevin Reinoso at 5 pm
- Uruguay Folklore & Sebastian Tubador at 5:40 pm
Other activities over the weekend include an artist and boutique pavilion with artworks and ceramics, children’s pavilion with bounce houses and face painting, fair food and cultural delicacies, doggie booth with water and snacks, and more.
