Coral Gables Farmers Market on Saturdays

Cucumbers, Lettuce stand The Coral Gables Farmers Market, is back every Saturday through March 28.

The Farmers Market takes place from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday in front of City Hall, at the intersection of LeJeune Road and Biltmore Way.

Just-picked produce, along with baked goods, gourmet specialty foods and plants, are available for sale. Other activities include cooking demonstrations, chai tea classes, kids activities, gardening workshops, live music and more. Free bike parking is available. 9 a.m. Gardening Workshop – “Starting Your Organic Raised Bed Garden,” presented by Andres Mejides, 10 a.m. Cooking Demonstration, 11 a.m. Children’s Activity Hosted by Mundo Lanugo with Gloria the Lamb.

Jan. 31
9 a.m. Gardening Workshop: “Landscape Tip That Can Help you Sell Your Home” presented by Wendy Saltzburg, 10 a.m. Cooking Demonstration by Lori Moldovan, 11 a.m. Children’s Activity Hosted by the Parks & Recreation Division. Make your own fish puppet to take home.

Feb. 7
9 a.m. Gardening Workshop “Basic Orchid Culture” presented by Peter Kouchalakos, 10 a.m. Cooking Demonstration by Coral Gables Hospital, 11 a.m. Children’s Activity Hosted by the Parks & Recreation Division. Make a clothespin airplane to take home.
