Drinks are better when they’re half-price. Here’s our list of Miami’s 10 best happy hours.
Who doesn’t love a good happy hour with good energy, and fantastic food and drink specials? We’ve done our research — by eating and drinking our way through Miami — and have come up with a list of our favorite happy hour spots:
Area 31, Epic Hotel, 270 Biscayne Blvd Way, Miami 305.424.5234
Happy Hour: Mon-Thurs from 5-8 p.m.; Fri, 5 p.m.-12 a.m.
If you are looking for a sexy vibe with a gorgeous view of the Brickell area, you must check out Area 31 at Epic. Located on the 16th floor, you will enjoy the light breeze, while sipping on your favorite adult beverages. During Happy Hour, which takes place Monday to Thursday from 5-8 p.m. on the outdoor terrace bar, guests can enjoy premium well drinks, house wine, beer and bubbles for $7. To pair up with the drinks, Area 31 offers a small $7 bar menu, featuring tempting items like St. Croix Conch Fritters; Meatballs with kefir lime and crispy shallots; and more.
When Friday rolls around, Area 31 gets ready for their Chase-the-Clock promotion, where drinks are priced by the hour ($5 at 5 p.m., $6 at 6 p.m., etc. up until midnight) — and food specials are offered up until 10 p.m.
Dolce Italian, 1690 Collins Ave, Miami Beach; (786) 975-2550
Happy Hour: Daily from 4-8 p.m.
While food lovers around the country followed Dolce Italian, as they took home the top prize during the run of Best New Restaurant earlier this year, we get to see what they are doing all year round — and it’s easy to do so, thanks to their stellar Eight for Eight Happy Hour. Located at the Gale South Beach, Dolce Italian offers happy hour daily from 4-8 p.m. During this time, guests can enjoy one of their eight signature cocktails created by LDV head mixologist Julio Cabrera like the Apple Basil Splash (Zu Vodka, elderflower, basil, green apple and lime) or the Spicy Raspberry Collins — or one of their eight featured appetizers like their Margherita Pizza or the Dolce Meatballs for just $8. In addition, select wines by the glass are available for $8, and Modelo Especial La Pera are just $4.

Morton’s The Steakhouse, locations in Coral Gables, Miami, Miami Beach and North Miami Beach

While a visit to Morton’s can put a huge dent in your last paycheck, a visit does not need to ruin your budget if you plan it right.
